Senior Care Assistant – Nursing Home

Shift Pattern: Mixed Shifts (Days & Nights)

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Day Shift)

8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Night Shift)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join friendly nursing home team in Harrow. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents, support care staff, and work closely with nurses to ensure excellent standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver person-centred care and support to residents.

Administer medication where trained and authorised.

Supervise and support care assistants on shift.

Maintain accurate care records and documentation.

Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.

Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and choice.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home or nursing home setting.

Medication administration experience preferred.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Right to work in the UK.

Shifts: Mixed days and nights, 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm / 8pm–8am).
